Indoor Air Quality

Oasis Indoor Environmental, Inc. takes a holistic approach to indoor air quality, inquiring about symptoms, ventilation, odors and other important details. Indoor air quality can sometimes be a complex puzzle; however, the goal of our assessment is to not only diagnose the air quality problem but to also provide recommendations on how to cost-effectively rectify any issues. A thorough inspection is performed, checking dust levels, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and humidity. Depending on your needs, we can test for a variety of specific items. We can test for allergens, radon, formaldehyde, and VOC’s (volatile organic compounds).

Mold

The goal of our experienced, licensed inspectors is to find any underlying moisture sources that could possibly be contributing to mold growth. Included in our services is a detailed report of our findings, and if remediation is needed, a protocol/scope of work. This second document can be given to a remediation company to use as a guide to safely remove any mold without affecting the air quality in your commercial space. Because Oasis Indoor Environmental, Inc., does mold testing and inspections only (no mold remediation), our results are unbiased and accurate. There is no conflict of interest. Oasis Indoor Environmental, Inc. also does Post Remediation Verification after remediation has been completed, to make sure everything has been properly remediated.

Asbestos

Many older properties still have asbestos-containing materials. Do you have suspect materials in your building that you would like tested? Or are you concerned that a past abatement job was done poorly? Get answers to your questions by hiring Oasis Indoor Environmental, Inc. to perform asbestos testing. Is there demolition or construction happening near your property and you are concerned about what is in the dust entering your business?

Lead

Our EPA certified inspectors can test for lead paint, lead in water and lead in soil. Currently there are two methods to test for lead paint. A Lead Hazard Analysis can be performed, locating potential lead hazards, including dust or paint chip samples for lead, or a more comprehensive XRF lead paint inspection can be done, checking all layers of every painted surface for lead. It is highly recommended to test for lead if there are young children in the property.

Have you had lead paint removed in your property? Clearance testing is required to clear lead abatement projects once all work has ceased. This testing is used to evaluate the levels of residual lead dust after removal. Oasis Indoor Environmental, Inc.’s lead inspectors are licensed to perform clearance testing.

Odor Intrusion

Are odors from a neighboring business entering into your space? Oasis Indoor Environmental, Inc. can inspect your property for ways to mitigate odors from entering. Do you need documentation from a neutral third-party, verifying the presence of VOC’s, cigarette smoke, marijuana smoke or another type of odor intrusion? We’re here to help.
